- Classical recog
- Maybe computing stabilizer chains of classical groups to look for a big enough order is quick enough. One only needs to be careful whether for a given quasi-simple classical group Omega there exists a maximal subgroup M of the corresponding conformal group such that |POmega| (order of the respective projective group) divides |PM|.
