Release updates:

• Apparmor fix merged into develop and release branch
• John and Kushal worked on translations. Testing logic changes meant i18n tests failed. John pushed a fix for that this AM. Now it looks like tests are running and both PRs are open, running CI. Once those are merged, we can cut RC2 to test fix for AppArmor issue. Kev/Mickael will merge i18n PRs when ready.
• Jen: Do we want to cut RC2 given delays?
• Mickael: OK, let's cut release tag and do pre-flight testing

Yesterday:

• Reviewed Queue PR, which was merged
• Removed sessionmaker passing from the client: Closed https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/issues/382
• Fixed sync bug by adding back the code to send a signal to the GUI when a refresh is complete: Merged https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/pull/387

Today:

• Troubleshoot and work on issue #361 - file decryption UI bug
• Create slides for tomorrow's client presentation
• Given time, write tests for https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-client/issues/388

• Misunderstood the translation PR to be working.
• Worked on https://github.com/freedomofpress/securedrop-workstation/tree/svs_disp_libre for #205, I think it is ready for PR but the tests were not running for kushal

• Note: there will be a all day powercut for kushal tomorrow, means I will work on slow mobile network in the cafes.
