Proxytools

Utilities for finding and testing public web proxies.

Proxytools offers both a command line interface and Python library to support mining and testing open web proxies.

Intended for research purposes only.

Installation

pip install git+https://github.com/lukemaxwell/proxytools

You may see the following error, the first time your run:

chrome-linux/chrome: error while loading shared libraries: libXss.so.1: cannot open shared object file: No such file or directory

If so, install the missing lib:

sudo apt-get install libxss1
