"Brice data" refers to a table of values consisting of names and values that are stored in a global manner, accessable anywhere in the engine or in XML. Important player-related variables (e.g. a toggle to allow the player to jump) are stored here.

Brice values are stored in brice.dat, which has a rather obvious structure. NPC dialogs can modify these values, and will eventually be allowed to redirect dialog or events based on these values.
