Log file location

Log files are located at Documents/LrClassicLogs/lr-inaturalist-publish.log in your home directory.

Enabling trace logging

When you're creating log files to add to an issue, please enable trace level logging first, then do whatever action triggers the bug.

File -> Plug-in Manager... -> choose iNaturalist on the left -> change Log level to Trace.

The log files that are generated can be very large, so you may want to disable logging after recreating the issue to avoid creating that large log file. You can safely delete the log file at any time.

Including only relevant logs

Because the log files can be large, please try to only include the relevant portions of the log file in a bug report. The easiest way to do this is to delete the log file before performing whatever action triggers the bug. That way, only the logs from that time will be in the log file.
