👩‍💻 Participating

Participation is open to anyone who has something to contribute.

⚖️ Leadership

Project governance is managed by the FinOps toolkit governing board and its advisory council.

The governing board and advisory council work together to ensure all stakeholders are represented throughout the decision-making process.

Governing board

The FinOps toolkit governing board defines and manages the overall mission, vision, and strategy and tracks performance and compliance with Microsoft Open Source policies and procedures. Governing board members are nominated and approved by the board based on their FinOps knowledge and broad participation within the community.

Advisory council

The FinOps toolkit advisory council represents contributors, their contributions, and end consumers for each of the tools and resources included in the FinOps toolkit. The advisory council advocates for diverse perspectives and fosters a collaborative environment, bridging the gap between the governing board and the contributors and consumers. Advisory council members are typically owners of one or more tools and resources that have been contributed to the FinOps toolkit.
