Download Firmware

There are two ways to get the newest firmware of MKS TFT.

• You can directly configure and download from MKS TOOL

  • We suggest this way because you can configure firmware by browser at the same time,convenient and visual.
  • This way don't support Laser and CNC now.

• You can download from makerbase Github

  • 3DPrinter firmware for MKS TFT24
  • 3DPrinter firmware for MKS TFT35
  • 3DPrinter firmware for MKS TFT70
  • 3DPrinter firmware for MKS TFT28 and MKS TFT32
  • Laser firmware for MKS TFT24 and MKS TFT35,MKS TFT70 doesn't support it
  • CNC firmware for MKS TFT24 and MKS TFT35,MKS TFT70 doesn't support it

Configuring

• IF you download from MKS TOOL,you have configure with MKS TOOL and no need to modify the configuration

• IF you download from makerbase Github.

  • Change the parameters by editing the file mks_config.txt
  • If you don't know how to configure it,we suggest you use MKS TOOL

Update

• Update firmware need files:

  • mks_font folder:
  • mks_pic folder:
  • mks_config.txt:
  • MksWifi.bin:
  • TFT bin file,:
    • MKS TFT24: mkstft24.bin
    • MKS TFT35: mkstft24.bin
    • MKS TFT70: mkstft24.bin
    • MKS TFT28 MKS TFT32: mkstft24.bin

• Update process:

  • Update only can be used by SD card
  • Copy all the update files to root directory of SD card
    • TFT bin file and mks_config.txt is necessary
    • IF use MKS TFT WIFI module, need MksWifi.bin
  • Insert SD card into SD card slot.
  • Reset or repower on update firmware

• After update:

  • After update
