NodeBB 3.2.x and up comes with public chat rooms, this plugin is not needed anymore.

nodebb-plugin-global-chat

It adds a global chat room to NodeBB. Uses the NodeBB internal chat system so everything works as expected.

Install from the ACP or npm install nodebb-plugin-global-chat.

Requires minimum NodeBB v1.18.4
