Course Overview

In this course, you will learn the fundamentals of web development and build several projects that showcase your skills. The course covers the following topics:

  • JavaScript ES6: The programming language used to add interactivity to websites.
  • Bootstrap: The CSS framework that makes it easier to design responsive and mobile-first websites.

  • Express.js: The Node.js framework that simplifies building web applications and APIs.
  • PostgreSQL: PostgreSQL is an open-source relational database management system known for its robustness, scalability, and extensive feature set, using SQL for data manipulation.
  • MongoDB: The NoSQL database used for storing and retrieving data in web applications.
  • Mongoose: The object data modeling (ODM) library for MongoDB that makes it easier to work with data in Node.js.
  • React.js: The JavaScript library used for building user interfaces in web applications.

Installation

Before you can start working on the course projects, you need to set up your development environment. Here's how:

  1. Install Node.js: You can download Node.js from the official website: https://nodejs.org/en/download/.
  2. Clone this repository: You can clone this repository by running the following command in your terminal or command prompt:

    git clone https://github.com/EmreKaram/Web-Development.git
}

Install project dependencies: Navigate to the project directory in your terminal or command prompt and run the following command:

    cd project-name
    npm install
}

Usage

To run the projects, navigate to the project directory in your terminal or command prompt and run the following command:

    npm start
}

This will start the development server and open the project in your default browser. You can make changes to the project files and the changes will automatically be reflected in the browser.
