Here is a draft of adopting the minimum version of PHP 8.1 for review, in this first PR the code is intact, only the configuration was changed in the tests, and the assertions depreciated in PHPUNIT, without modifying the tests either, I await your comments.

I tested the 2.2 branch with easyii which is in a deprecated state and it worked, making some minor changes.

I tried running it against phd5 and ran into missing ::className() everywhere.

Yes of course that changes it to be able to test it, but the idea is to clean up the depreciations, to continue advancing, so if you change className() to class it will work, so far it's just that, but the rest of the code will remain intact.
