The database is getting gen 8 data soon (veekun/pokedex#327). This issue lists changes required on the frontend.

  • make version icons
    • Gen VIII
    • Sword/Shield
    • Let's Go
  • get gen 8 sprites (use HOME for now)
  • get gen 8 pokemon icons
  • item icons
  • update CSS spritesheet
  • don't assume pokemon.shape is defined
  • distinguish TRs in the move table
  • add links to /dex/pokemon
  • add new evolution methods
  • add combined form names
  • stub out ability effects
