I stumbled on this Proxmox VE script while searching for ways to get rid of the annoyance seeing that the devs feel that annoyance is a valid way of promoting the use of their software for us that don't or never will use Proxmox in any different capacity (purely exploratory and self serving for homelab use).
I've always been a bit dubious of scripts that run on root without guardrails... but since this system is isolated and there's only a direct connection out without access to my lan, I said what the heck.... I read the content of the script and it's pretty straight forward, no funny business really...
My node just rebooted as I am writing these lines and I have to say to the devs of this little jewel.. BRAVO!... too many people complain and not enough people praise these days and that work you've done will become something I will use for every attempt I make at installing Proxmox to my taste (will take a few tries lol) ...
