The AMD power tool works just fine, but my fans are running like crazy all the time. I added the kext and did an OC snapshot, but I still can't change the fan speed. What can I do?

What EC (SMC) chip does your mainboard have? Common EC's include: Nuvoton NCT-xxxx or ITE ITxxxxx-x.
This chip is also called a SuperIO chip and can be found in your mainboard's documentation or sometimes it is visible just by looking for it on your mainboard itself.
