PFI Code README (this should be improved): Basic compilation instructions for c: gcc -O3 -ftree-vectorize -funroll-loops pfi.c -o pfi_c and for MPI: mpicc -D_MPI_ -O3 -ftree-vectorize -funroll-loops pfi.c -o pfi_mpi Alternately, use the compile_c.sh or compile_mpi.sh scripts (which do the same thing). To run the c version: ./pfi_c --reynolds_number 1.98 --circulation_parameter 1.8 --dt 0.001 --tolerance_level 0.0001 --number_boundary_level_bcs 20 --report_frequency 1 --incremental_file_frequency 1 --time_steps 10 --name testc And the mpi version: mpirun -np 4 pfi_mpi --reynolds_number 1.98 --circulation_parameter 1.8 --dt 0.001 --tolerance_level 0.0001 --number_boundary_level_bcs 20 --report_frequency 1 --incremental_file_frequency 1 --time_steps 10 --name testmpi The report_frequency is how frequently the state of the simulation is printed to the screen. The incremental_file_frequency is how frequently a checkpoint is written to disk. A negative or 0 incremental_file_frequency means no files will be written. The time_steps is the number of iterations. The name is what the checkpoint and incremental files will be written as. The checkpoint will be '<name>_checkpoint' and the incremental file names will be '<name>_report_<iteration>'.
