I am a software engineer from Japan, working for an IT company in Kamakura.
OSS activities include the following types

  • If something is needed for work and can be made as OSS, make it as OSS
  • PoC-like code that I came up with around data analysis or hobbyist stuff.
  • Personal work that you have created because you think it will be useful around SRE and data analysis.

Funds obtained through sponsorship will be used to pay for drinks at Hanakin Development.
Mainly, it is one of the ways to maintain motivation for OSS activities.
Probably, if the motivation is low, MMORPG is more likely to be prioritized as a hobby.
