Assets exceeding field limits Warning

Problem

Error message:

Identity: 27 assets are currently exceeding the field limits set in the Asset and Identity Management page. Data truncation will occur unless the field limits are increased.

Solution

By default, Splunk Enterprise Security limits the values for the category field to 25. This add-on has around 30 values for the category field, which will shorten to 25 unless the default is updated.
