We need to address the following points to improve the package:

  • Add documentation with a more comprehensive tutorial
  • Include fixes to pass the tests in the package
    • Update the test in the folder
    • Fix de CI because it is not working (we need to review the configuration)
    • The documentation test also fails (there is no documentation page; do we include it?)
  • Set up the compatibility helper bot (also review the current compatibilities)
  • Changes to make it work with the current version of SpineOpt/SpineInterface (?)
  • Give defaults to parameters to avoid errors (e.g., window_duration)
  • Use db_mip_solver and db_lp_solver parameter values #10
  • Implement Codecov to guarantee that the testing of the code
  • Review current issues (priority, label, etc.)
  • Enable the discussion section in the repository

I think the tests fail just because it cannot install spinedb_api...

Also I think it already works with the latest version of SpineOpt/Interface, or at least I have tried to keep it that way.
