The simulation consists of a cube of gold atoms using the embedded atom method (eam) force field. The temperature is increased linearly from 1 K to 2500 K during the simulation, and the initially solid cube eventuelly melts. This video has been made with this script.
Execute the input.lammps file using LAMMPS. Visualise the dump file using VMD.
