Sapphire Engine

Description

The Sapphire Engine is a fully featured game server engine for use with any multiplayer online game. It is written in the Java programming language and is designed to be extremely modular and portable.

Usage

There are two options to using the server library. The easiest is you simply add the project as a library in Netbeans, or your IDE of choice. Otherwise, you can compile the project with Netbeans and add the resulting JAR file as a library to your project.

Dependencies

This project depends on the Java MySQL connector and the Netty networking library.

Build Instructions

Compile the project within Netbeans using Apache ANT, or use the IDE or your choice. Or, use javac from the command line!

Install Instructions

To install Netbeans for building, head over to http://www.netbeans.org/.
