CM 9 Beta 2 sleep issue #79
Comments
Hi, I have also installed CM9 beta 2, and am still facing the same sleep bug. If it helps, my Adam's version is: NI3421-A01 |
Same problem here. |
Mr Biggz has posted a temporary work around on the pics thread on tablet roms. If you open the terminal emulator app and select settings and then 'More' and then select take wake lock it seems to overcome the sleep issue. It seems you have to leave the app running in the background for it to work. Not ideal, but better than having to reset every time the tablet falls asleep. |
The workaround doesn't quite work ok. Regards On Tue, Mar 6, 2012 at 10:35 PM, elegua <

This workaround helps, but not a real solution. Tablet wakes up from shorter sleeps, but sometimes freezes after about an hour. |
I'm experiencing the same problem |
I am now using the wake lock - power manager app. I have not had any issues with it. Not an ideal solution, but better than nothing. |
I am also facing the same issue am on com9beta4ish.waking from a short nap is fine, but an hour long sleep = re boot only. cheers |

Hi,
I still appear to have the sleep on CM9 beta 2.
I leave my Adam to go to sleep and it will not wake. The led glows red, not blue, like some of the beta 1 users were reporting. Also, no amount of pressing the back button, or holding down the power button will get the tablet to reboot.
I have reinstalled clean nvflash of cm9 b1 and recovery flashed cm2 b2, cleared cache etc but I still have the same problem.
Another user, soymo, has also reported the same problem, but I'm not sure if other users are also experiencing the same.
Any suggestions would be appreciated.
Thanks
