              <h1>About Terracoin and the TRC Foundation</h1>
              <p>Terracoin is a cryptocurrency with a blockchain dating back to 2012.  It is similar to Bitcoin, but with faster transactions, and improved security by having merged mining and Dark Gravity Wave difficulty recalculation. There are exciting planned features coming in late 2017, the most notable of which are master nodes and decentralized governance.</p>
              <p>The Terracoin Foundation was formed to provide stable development, improved security and better community involvement for Terracoin.</p>
