Hey @ur5us, did you find any issues while experimenting with Github Actions? I noticed the actions-matrix branch

Would be good to have it running again instead of Travis

I'm willing to simplify the whole matrix to just Rails 7 for the new 1.7.0 stable branch and forget about old versions 😁

I'd actually like to add a matrix with more Ruby/Rails versions and potentially database adapters. That'll future proof the setup and make it easier to contribute (I hope). I've continued on said branch but haven't pushed it yet.

I've made some progress and there's a good chance that I'll be able to finish that work this Thursday.

Regarding the dropping of support, we could release 2.0 with just Ruby 2.7+ and Rails 7 support. And clean up a lot of legacy code we have
