No commits for years... But it sounded very promising! If it is dead are there any good alternatives out there you'd recommend?

Not 100% the same, but some similar goals. If you know Rust or want to learn, we'd welcome additional help.

I've developed it for over two years without any funding and without actually having a job to make a living. Since nobody wanted to help out, I had to look for an alternative.
