Notifications suddenly massive

my notifications suddenly started to become weirdly large, also wondering how to disable notifications for spotify as it displays a new notification every time the song changes.

I also came here in the discussion for the sudden notification size lol , anyway for your spotify thing here is the file you should look into :
" .local/share/bin/mediaplayer.py " ,
maybe try locating the on_metadata_changed function and add a condition to skip notifications if the player name is spotify ,
and as always dont forget to restart the app to check the changes.
