Bought a new headset, mic didn't work out of the box. Internet digging led to the Realtek control panel. Spent an entire evening figuring out legacy driver installation since the panel itself just refused to boot. A bunch of different versions and manual .cab installations later I settled with weird audio and white noise. Tried your custom build today and everything is great. Overall sound quality is better than the default Microsoft audio driver and the mic actually works now. Also had trouble installing the Audio Console directly from MS Store but yours worked just fine. Thanks!
