Why doesn't OSTree support localization (L10n)? #3341

Hi ,
I noticed that OSTree does not currently support localization (e.g., messages and logs are always in English), so

Are there any reasons why localization has not been implemented in OSTree?
Is localization support planned for future releases? If not, would contributions in this area be welcome?

Localization could make OSTree more user-friendly for global audiences, and looking forward to hearing your thoughts!

No objections at all to adding it, I am not too familiar with the status quo on this though, as far as which frameworks are best etc.
