Wireguard by default

OpenVPN is enabled by default on Network GUI. I just need to add my ovpn files and it works. However, I'm starting to migrate to Wireguard. How to integrate the connection, such as openvpn?

After some time off, I've returned to reply it. However, I'm not sure if this should be the correct flow.

Wireguard is enabled by default since Network Manager 1.16. Running the command:

$ nm-connection-editor 

You will find it there. However, it's not visible for elementaryOS (at least anywhere I looked for).

There should be an easy way to integrate it.

However, there is an old repository that seems to make it work:

Wireguard support has just been released to OS 7.1

Just to be clear. OpenVPN works, but not Wireguard.

I've tried with a new fresh install with VirtualBox. Same thing.

@tintou I'm on elementary OS 8, with the wireguard package installed (followed by a reboot), but Network Manager doesn't offer Wireguard as an option. It can't even import from a connection file (i.e. a file backed up from /etc/NetworkManager/system-connections).
