Where to state funding streams?

Where could funding streams (like EU's FP7, H2020) be specified?
There are DOIs for FP7 (10.13039/100011102), H2020 (10.13039/100010661) also, so FP7, H2020 could be stated implicitly together with the funder EU. But if the EU DOI (10.13039/501100000780) is used, then there is no trace of FP7 or H2020.
So perhaps an explicit means to state funding streams would be good.
