Hi all,

to complete the docs refactoring (#1131) I would like to include some showcase examples. Please comment below or directly add to the branch via PR by modifying the respective page:

  • A screeshot of your application (light and darkmode compatible or two separate screenshots)
  • Maximum 3 lines of text describing the example
  • A link to a working online version or well documented (and working) github repository

Thank you :)!!

As external resources can be fluid, I suggest to put showcase examples to the blog. This way, also a person without technical knowledge can update showcases without the need to publish a new release. To make it more concrete: https://oemof.org/category/showcase/ (Just one example, yet.)

Then that page should link to the blog. I am thinking of placing stable stuff there, which is actively maintained + developed. Otherwise, with the blog idea, you can also always showcase papers etc., which would be nice.

In my opinion, the showcases should include open_plan (https://open-plan-tool.org/) and POMMES (https://github.com/pommes-public/pommesdispatch). These examples show the span from highly accessible web tool and small scale systems to complex model for large scale path development studies by experts.
