TEAM FORMATION TIPS 💡 Here's how to find teammates or join a team!

Have you joined a team yet? The NASA Space Apps Challenge is all about collaboration! We highly recommend you work with other participants during the hackathon.

Here are tips for how you can find or create a team:

• Use the Find a Team discussion category in Space Apps Connect!
• Search the Find a Team page: Use the search filters to find a team by skills, Local Event, challenge, language, or if they are seeking members.
• From the Challenges Page: Join a team that’s interested in working on a specific challenge. Navigate to the “Teams” tab under your chosen challenge and look for teams with the “Seeking Members” tag. There are challenges for everyone! Check out some of our challenges like Visualize Space Science, Navigator for the Habitable Worlds Observatory (HWO): Mapping the Characterizable Exoplanets in our Galaxy, Landsat Reflectance Data: On the Fly and at Your Fingertips, and our Helio one, Show Us What the May 2024 Geomagnetic Storms Looked Like! Reminder: The "Create Your Own Challenge" is not eligible for Global Awards.
• At Your Local Event: You can search for teams at your Local Event by navigating to the “Teams” tab on your Local Event page. Remember, even if you form your team in-person, you will need to create your team and team page on spaceappschallenge.org to submit your project.
• Make sure to write a short summary about who you are and why you want to join the team!
• You will then receive an email letting you know if your request was approved or denied.
• Don’t see a team for you? Looking for a team with certain skills? You can create your own by clicking the “Create A Team” button on the Find a Team or Challenges page.
