Library Loading Error (Or something) #1088
Comments
so this means that your version of the system library called "libc" is too old.. since I made this build on gentoo linux, it's possible that I have a pretty new version of glibc and this may be a somewhat common problem. I'll make another linux64 build on a linux box running a bit older of an OS and hopefully that one will work for you. which version of Mint are you running? |
It's Mint 21.3, the newest I could find a few months ago |
Sorry it took so long to get back to this. I made a build on one of my laptops which is running Mint 21.3, so this should work for you. You can download it here: https://github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-core/releases/download/2.6.0/mupen64plus-bundle-linux64-ubuntu22-2.6.0.tar.gz |
Yippeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeee, I'll try it later :) |
So, I've been trying since last night to install it, just now I was searching for the issue and found something from 2015 (Idk but it seems as if the issue wasn't entirely solved or something.
https://github.com/mupen64plus/mupen64plus-user-issues/issues/510 ).
These may be silly issues (along with the small marker thing of the image, but whatever, I'm just trying to make this not seem too newbie 😭 ), but I'd really like to have a direct answer to them.
I'M STILL SOMEWHAT NEW TO TERMINAL/CONSOLE DRIVEN SOFTWARE, JUST IN CASE : )
