I think it's fine (great!) as is. Is it super necessary for them to deal in collaborators for this exercise?

is there a place in this section where we can also have them create issues for the data management modules (e.g. "need to drop in a university logo", "need to add another module on best practices for describing widgets"). i can then take those and use them in the next section when discussing projects.

@daniellecrobinson I just remembered something from the last time I taught a similar workshop: you'll need to show students how to unsubscribe from email notifications. There will be folks who complain about receiving a deluge of emails (from collaborator activity).

There's a few ways to handle email unsubscription. I would recommend "unwatching" from the repo homepage.
