Automatic splah image change

Hi,

I am wondering if there is any easy way to introduce a modification to display a different splash image on the "home" page that is selected randomly from a list of images. I am looking into the code and it seems quite some modifications are required in the includes, plus of course some javascript...

Has perhaps anybody already achieved something like this?
