Mic Hotkey Toggle

Alfred workflow for using a global hotkey to toggle MUTE/UNMTUE on the system microphone.

To be used in conjunction with BitBar.

Instructions:

  1. Install BitBar.
  2. Launch BitBar > Preferences > Change Plugins Folder...
  3. Select (or create first) a plugins directory.
  4. Copy bitbar-mic-toggle.1s.sh into the plugins directory.
  5. Copy bitbar-mic-toggle.sh into your home directory (/Users/<username>).
  6. Download the Mic Hotkey Toggle workflow. Open the file to import it into Alfred.
  7. Edit the workflow Script step. Navigate down to where you see --Bitbar Custom Icon and change /Users/michaelyoung/ to your own.
  8. Set a hotkey for your workflow, and you're good to go!
