Is the extension ever going to be published on open-vsx.org?

I wonder if it's possible to release the vscode extension of pylint on open-vsx.org.
This will make it available on any vs code based editor, like vscodium!
Microsoft have this in the past for other extensions.
I don't see any particular reason why they wouldn't want do this for pylint!
