An error when using a self-built vcpkg.exe

Hello everyone!

I built the vcpkg-tool repo myself with GHA cache fix PR merged (link)

I get the following error:

Do you use the latest master branch? I don't know if it helps, but microsoft/vcpkg-tool#1506 was merged two days ago

And try running with --debug

Or do you use a vcpkg version that includes #40416?

Thank you for your answer! It seems you're right. It was a terrible idea to run a newer vcpkg-tool with an older vcpkg.

I'll check if updating vcpkg helps. It should.

I also found:

 Could not fetch 7zr. vcpkg does not have a definition of this tool for this platform.

run

%VCPKG_ROOT%\bootstrap-vcpkg.bat

it fixed it for me.
