In other calendar programs, it is possible to edit a single instance of a reoccurring event without that edit then appearing in all instances of that event. To give a frivolous example, given a reoccurring event of a meeting every Monday morning, it would be nice to specify who is responsible to bring the doughnuts on a particular Monday.
