[question] mobile auth? #52
Comments
Two-Factor Authentication is not necessarily required. If a steam user has that disabled, the steam-login page won't ask for a code. It all depends on what settings the steam user set.. |
That's strange because I have mobile auth. activated and when I log in through my steam account I am not asked to insert a code whatsoever |
That is very strange indeed. Usually, the steam-login asks for a code if Two-Factor is enabled. But that's out of passport-steam scope. |
It's likely because your device has cookies stored for the account. Try logging in via incognito. |
Hi everyone,
new to node.js and stuff. Really appreciate the project.
Do you guys know whether I can use this up front or do I need this mobile authentication secure code stuff for users to login in correctly (in the eyes of volvo)?
If I'm planning on doing a private website, they wouldn't mind that much, right?
Anyways, sorry if this is not a real issue ticket.
Regards,
Aaron
