Current behaviour

  1. In Options > General, set keyboard mode to vim.
  2. Open a note.
  3. Press escape to ensure you are in normal mode.
  4. Press / to activate search.
  5. Observe that / gets written into the note at the current cursor position as if you were in insert mode.
  6. Test moving the cursor with j and k to ensure you are still in normal mode.
  7. Yes, you are in normal mode, but forward slash gets typed into the note instead of activating search.

Expected behaviour

  1. In Options > General, set keyboard mode to vim.
  2. Open a note.
  3. Press escape to ensure you are in normal mode.
  4. Press / to activate search.
  5. A command line appears on the bottom of the note (as when using a colon), a / appears in the command line and I can now search the note.
