Joplin version

3.0.15

Desktop version info

Joplin 3.0.15 (prod, darwin)

Client ID: fb408a98a0d246118939391ed0f7f2aa
Sync Version: 3
Profile Version: 47
Keychain Supported: Yes

Revision: 598677b

Backup: 1.4.1
Draw.io: 2.2.0
Note Tabs: 1.4.0

Current behaviour

Prerequisite: Have two monitors with different resolutions. This problem is also found on the linux app and is not new.

  1. "View">"Change application layout"
  2. Move the notes layout element on far right, so that the layout is as follows: left: Notebooks | Center: Notes Viewer/Editor | Right: Notes
  3. Move Joplin window between monotors

Expected behaviour

The width of the Notes layout element should stay the same relevent to the position of the edge of the monitor when moved between monitors. It looks like the width of the Notes element is not anchored as a distance to the right edge of the monitor, so that the width is same when different resolution monitors are used, but is anchored to either the width of the Notes Viewer/Editor or to the distance from the Notebooks element on the far left.
