Not seeing highlighting in status

Some time in the last few weeks, I stopped seeing syntax highlighting in :Gina status. Highlighting in other commands such as :Gina log or :Gina changes still works. Also, I see the correct colors when I run git status from the command line. The problem occurs in both Neovim (nightly) and Vim (8.2.3890-1). I'm also using Fish as my shell, if that's the problem.

Gina didn't change things. Unfortunately, I've no idea what's going on in your environment.
