Describe the bug
Install the plugin on a machine with no Kart install, the kart -> about and kart -> settings menu will not prompt to install Kart and log an error in the log panels.

To Reproduce

  • Blank machine
  • Install the kart plugin in QGIS
  • go to settings or about

Expected behavior
It should install the Kart as soon as a command is run
