Hide side menu in landscape mode

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe.
While using the app in landscape, a side menu appear, taking more than half the screen. I want to get rid of it completly.

You can tap on the image in portrait mode to toggle UI overlay. There is a button (i) on the top right corner to show/hide the side menu.

I said in LANDSCAPE mode. Anyway, landscape or portrait, i have no (i) anywhere that appear.

The (i) button is only available in landscape mode. Check your Settings > Image Viewer. You might have permanently hidden it.

There is an issue in landscape mode where tapping on an image doesn't toggle the UI overlay. Switch to portrait mode to make the UI overlay visible, then switch back to landscape mode to make the (i) button appear.
