Bulk Downloader Redesign Doesn't Work #456
Comments
Can you record a video?
You can tap on it to view progress of individual files |
Okay, so I apologize with the knee-jerk reaction I had trying to figure out how the new bulk downloader works. I have gotten it to work since, just still not reliably well. For the most part, the downloading part seems faster, but it has so much more trouble now collecting the image totals than it did before. I mean, sure, collecting the total number of images from tags selected wasn't fast, but now it seems to go at a snail's pace while constantly giving me app not responding errors. The difference in speed collecting the images is like night and day. I did figure out that you can tap on the progress bar to see the individual images being downloaded, however that doesn't seem to work until all the images have been collected for what you've searched for which, again, seems very, very slow and error-riddled. I'm sorry if I sound whiny, I love the app. It's been the best app I've come across for mass downloading, however, the previous iteration of the bulk downloader seems to have worked so much better before |
It seems to be a performance issue. Could you share more details?

After the latest update and redesign, bulk downloader doesn't work anymore. Or at least I can't get it to work properly. I had a few issues with the old downloader, but it worked for the most part, with the redesign, it goes to load pages for awhile, it doesn't load any percentage that has been done and then the app crashes and it does this every time a bulk download is started. I'm also not a fan of not being able to see what is being downloaded in real time. Seeing the thumbnails as they download is much preferable to a single progress bar for everything
I would very much appreciate the ability to go back to the old bulk downloader if at all possible, please I can't get the new one to function at all
