View Detected Users Button does nothing

Running Chrome 130.0.6723.117 on Mac OSX Sequoia, M1.

I run the extension and it finds more than 80 accounts to follow, but then pressing the "View Detected Users" button does nothing except create more error messages in the console that look like this:

The error message is:

Uncaught (in promise) Error: A listener indicated an asynchronous response by returning true, but the message channel closed before a response was received

I see. I wonder what it is. This is the first error I've encountered.I cannot reproduce this in my environment.
In that state, what happens if you right-click the extension icon and select options?

Wow, it works! When I find the options menu item, it brings up this.
