I cannot define or use HTML Unicode symbols like "✴,⚆,✰,✦" in Javascript. If I enter or paste it, then it turns into a bad symbol (like []). Too many symbols from https://www.toptal.com/designers/htmlarrows/symbols/ aren't useful to define in Javascript.

I guess you need to support the necessary font formats to support these.
