A comment has been made that indicated that time-spans are specific to a given event so they can not be used multiple times and or be marks as the sameAs other time-spans? (And this does disagree with the current scope note)
I do not quite understand this? I can understand that the period of a time-span for two events are unlikely to be the same, down to the micro-second. But if the period is only defined in terms of years, or even hours, then why can it not also be the period that covers other activities?
It would be good to clarify what the issues is here.
