Immich Requesting Access to Photos Every Time App Opened

The bug

Every time I open the app on iOS, it is requesting permission to access my photos. This started with the most recent app update.

I currently only use the app to view photos using the External Library feature. I don't use Immich to backup photos from my phone, so access to photos is not necessary.
