magnet-based soccer variant (or any other game)

suppose soccer boots had magnets; and the ball was magnetised so that the two things repelled.

suppose the effect was really dramatic; so it was really hard to kick the ball; but when you did it went even further than it normally would.

does this change the game in a fun way? it'd be easier to defend goals. the goalies gloves should also be configured with appropriate repelling magnets.

i guess the players boots would also repel each other.

i love the idea of it being an actual full-body sport (not the foosball thing)--i can already imagine them making a comedy movie about it
