I'm not really sure what injecting the steam.dll means or does but would a solution using a launch option to launch Daybreak instead of the guild wars executable solve this in the same way? Steam tracks time played as long as Daybreak remains open in the background.
You could automatically do this edit for a user in Daybreak by editing ...userdata{YoursteamID3}\config\localconfig.vdf and adding a "LaunchOptions" to open Daybreak.exe under 29720 (guild wars app id).
That's a great idea, thanks. I didn't have any plan previously, I just had this ticket created so that one day when I'd have the time, I'd try to do something with it
Inject the steam.dll to make steam track the Guild Wars application (stuff such as hours played, etc.)
